WELCOME TO THE grassroots INTERNATIONAL CUP

The Grassroots International Cup is one of the UK’s largest grassroots football tournaments for boys and girls. Held annually in Nottingham during the Easter break in April, the event welcomes thousands of young footballers from across the UK and beyond.

What we do

The Grassroots International Cup is a high-quality grassroots football event designed to deliver an unforgettable few days of football and fun, both on and off the pitch. Catering for teams of all abilities, the tournament offers both a non-competitive festival format and competitive tournaments across a range of age groups. Teams from across the UK and beyond will descend on Nottingham to take part in a truly memorable experience, featuring 11-a-side, 9-a-side, 7-a-side, 5-a-side and 3-a-side football for both boys and girls.

OUR FACILITIES

Participants and spectators can look forward to a vibrant carnival-style atmosphere at the festival venue, which will take place at Riverside Sports Complex, Nottingham. This outstanding facility boasts 22 full-size 11-a-side grass pitches, 12 nine-a-side pitches, 16 seven-a-side pitches, 22 changing rooms, a bar (over-18s only), and a dedicated food court.

 

The festival will also feature live entertainment and award ceremonies hosted on a main stage. Players waiting for kick-off can enjoy a range of activity areas located throughout the venue, including the Fun Zone,s ensuring there is always something to do on and off the pitch.
